PROFESSOR BRUNO DUBOIS

 

 

 

 

 

Bruno Dubois is currently Professor of Neurology at the University Pierre et Marie Curie Paris 6. He is Director of the Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology Center and of the Memory and Alzheimer’s Disease Institute at the Salpétrière Hospital in Paris. He is coordinating the National Reference Center on Rare Dementias, the National Reference Center for early-onset Alzheimer patients and the Resource and Research Memory Center (CMRR) for Ile-de-France.

He is Director of the INSERM Research Unit (U-610 – Cognition, Neuro-imaging and Brain diseases) of the “Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle Epinière” (ICM).

He is also scientific director of the Foundation for Research on Alzheimer (FRA).

He has published on central cholinergic systems in rodents and humans, on neuropsychology, neuroimaging and neuropharmacology in patients with neurodegenerative dementia. He recently elaborated new international criteria for Alzheimer’s disease.
